When You Are Not Winning!

It is sometimes so discouraging to fight for a dream, your passion, for something that you have loved, and sometimes done for years from back but to never win from it. To try so damn hard everytime, with limited resources, lack of finances and opportunities, with so many cock blockers and selfish people who "run things"..... its discouraging to keep trying when you not winning.

But the problem is with all those other elements and also with ourselves.

Self sabotage, laziness, lack of hunger, lack of planning, through thinking and implementation, stamina and then some.

Sometimes we look at the problem outside and forget to look within. How are you making sure your dream survives and lives on, within those tough situations? Do you give up with the first try? Do you value your passion enough to fight with all you've got, even when you have done it before? Do you pray about it, work on it, develop yourself and keep at it? Do you keep pushers around you? Do you know what you are doing? Do you think you've made it when you've just began? Do you think because you have assistance you need to relax? Do you see yourself of TV and think you there? Do you maintain your elevation? Do you keep working hard? Do you make most of opportunities? Do you run your mouth and loose credibility? Do you keep a solid team or do you move from one to the next using people? Do you believe in yourself? Do you read?

It is frustrating!! Being damn good at what you do but not succeeding. It is unfair when you pay your dues but at the end your efforts are not acknowledged. When you know you are a good writer but Hype still won't hire you, when you know you can create great content for a kick ass Hip Hop Show on some radio station but they wont hire you. What do you do? Keep at it, Grow, Be motivated and Create!!

It is never a good idea to give up and it is never too late to start and restart. Try and fail, then try again. Grow with each try, learn with each try, believe with each try, be a step closer with each try. But don't be tempted to never try..... Again!

The Journey goes on......
We dream and aspire. We work to acquire!

Tan.

The Motswako Prince of Maftown, Sly YoHighness

It looks like Sly YoHighness might just got next as the Motswako Prince. It's now been a long while since we've had a proper Motswako wave breakthrough. Remember when the Morafe and Tuks wave hit, or when Gata lenna came out, Fifi Cooper and the late HHPs consistency and many comebacks? A lot of us have been wondering "who got next"? With the fall of guys like Notshi and KT struggling to properly cement his stance, is Sly the guy to look out for? I hit him up through the socials, to find out what he's been up to and if he really got his sight set on the throne. So how did he get into this whole music and creative space thing? He says he's always been artistic and one thing led to the other . "I love & have always loved acting. I'm very out there & funny too (yes, he is). So once I started writing I kinda never stopped, though I always felt it's a farfetched dream or whatever but I kept on writing, even if it was just for mysel

Tan89Media Tips For Emerging Talent

Attention Emerging Talent!! So, for the years that I have been dealing with and working alongside emerging talent, more so, artists. I have noticed some behavior pertaining to their brand. That could be credited to lack of experience and knowledge but it could also be ignorance and lack of proactivity. A lot of talent lacks a lot of knowledge of their industries.
