2019 seems to have been a marriage inspired year with so many wedding having taken place, despite Covid-19 hitting us all. Some of our rappers chose the year to be the year to wed. T.H-C is a Hip Hop/Urban Musician and overall creative. He is an award nominee and has gunnered some international recognition, in some parts of Africa and in the US. Tshepi Aphane who goes by T.H-C is a rapper from Summer Greens in Cape Town, recently residing in Johannesburg after having been a Pretorian for a while. He has been on a serious come up since he became an active member of the music industry back in 2012. He has travelled and performed at various places and events, recently in Pretoria at the SOHK sessions and been on radio plaforms like Metro FMs" Rap Active Jam" and came out on top as the winner. Once in a while comes a person that HHP was. Once in a while comes a person who could just be an everybody's and anybody's person. Both funny and profound. Silly and serious but above all a pioneer. I could lie and say "the dust has settled" and all those other "comforting clichés" that we forever say. But with death, the going on's of life stay reminding, poking, tapping us in the shoulder. Telling and reminding  us of a soul we've lost. When I found out that HHP had passed away last month, I was genuinely in disbelief! I was sad and shocked. I then watched as everything unfolded on the socials and media. I've been checking out several newspoints that are strictly dedicated to covering content about the culture. Lord knows we need more of these. There's a lot of platforms that many don't realise they out there , but there's not nearly enough covering the vast that the culture has. Granted it's gonna take a while before digital media thrives to the point where these platforms become topic of conversation and it becomes a career defining moment to be on some of them, but I believe.
