Black Coffee Spotify Track ID features rising star DJ, Dr Feel.

Black Coffee is a DJ and a musician who has done super well for himself and he is one of South Africa’s proud exports. His brand weighs quite a lot of weight, so when anyone gets his recognition it is bound to be a proud and surreal moment for them.

This was such the case for one Johannesburg based emerging Afro/Tech House DJ and Producer, Dr Feel. He found himself, well 2 of his songs featured on the legendary DJs’ Spotify playlist. The songs “Ngoma” and “Vaudzeyi Vanamate” made an appearance on “Black Coffee Track ID’s on Spotify beginning of July.

Dr Feel is an all-round producer and who has been specifically releasing Afro House music nonstop since
2019/2020. Before then Dr Feel was a strictly Hip Hop Producer even producing one of Ifanis’ hit songs “February” but it seems the change in direction as far as his music is concerned was a well-earned move.

Dr Feel has never shied away from being a huge fan of Black Coffee and he is one of the people he looks up to in the music scene. He has even made this known through the music. Since early 2019 Dr Feel has been taking some of Black Coffees’ songs and putting his touch on them through remixes. These songs include Ndod’emnyama ft. Samthing Soweto, Music is the Answer ft. Ribatone and Lalala ft. Usher. While doing this, he would tag and mention the superstar DJ across social media trying to get his attention and it looks like he has been watching him all this time
Dr Feel has been on a music release spree and since the month of June till now, he’s released 3 Eps and well over 15 tracks and he has been making some solid strides. He has a great following on Traxsource,Beatport and Spotify and has been featured on several digital charts, playlists and this while still producing and releasing his radio mixes for Diplomatikk Radio.

Below is a video of Black Coffee playing the song "Ngoma" during his set in the US, watch it here:  https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=4298682240154499&id=100000382963541

Credits goes to hard work, dedication and well social media power to an extent, but above all talent is what gets you picked over the rest, picked by Black Coffee that is. Dr Feel only released his debut Afro House project in April of 2020 under Maluku Records and he has since blossomed to one of the artists to look out for and Black Coffee agrees.

Congrats to Dr Feel for all his milestones so far and we looking to see more moves from him.

Tan89Media Tips For Emerging Talent

Attention Emerging Talent!! So, for the years that I have been dealing with and working alongside emerging talent, more so, artists. I have noticed some behavior pertaining to their brand. That could be credited to lack of experience and knowledge but it could also be ignorance and lack of proactivity. A lot of talent lacks a lot of knowledge of their industries. The very same field they want to occupy one day. Its super essential for anyone to know as much as possible when it comes to a dream they are pursuing or a skill they are great at or anything for that matter they say they are passionate about. The very basic things to know are many times overlooked and undermined and they play a huge role in how you develop as a brand, how you are perceived, and it shows just how serious or not one is about whatever it is they are pursuing. I have listed and broken down six (6) tips for emerging/ up and coming brands/ talents. Hopefully they will serve helpful to some. 1. The bas...

Rappers and Marriage: SA Rappers Who Got Married in 2019

2019 seems to have been a marriage inspired year with so many wedding having taken place, despite Covid-19 hitting us all. Some of our rappers chose the year to be the year to wed. While many like Kwesta and Solo went all out publicly, some like Okmalumkoolkat and Towdeemac kept thier union low-key and intimate.  You might know these rappers but do you know the the people they said their "I do" to.? Priddy Ugly & Bontle Modiselle-28 September    2019 Priddy Ugly and Bontle are both part of the entertainment industry and holding their own respectively. Priddy, whose real name is Richardo Moloi has a dance background having been a member of dance group “Freeze Frame”.  While he left that world after an injury, his wife is a renowned and amazing dancer. Album Review: @Tan89Media Artist: Bugzito Album: Identity Crisis Selling Price: R 70 Singles: 16 Bars to Mars ft Bassiq, Stas and Rhythmik, Maratong ft. Zimkitha Soul and Maybe ft. Tumi Modise @Bugzito    Maybe is the current single off this project and it features incredible vocalist named Tumi Modise and i reckon hearing it will make you want to hear the whole album. My favourate song on this project is a song titled “I shot the spotlight” featuring Boypeza and Anzo, (produced by Tshepo Tee). If you have heard it, you can’t disagree that it is a punchy song. The guys did a great job. Bugzito is a rapper from Pretoria (Tshwane) who has been in the game for the longest. You might have seen him on the series “The Road” or on several music videos of rappers like Gingertrill and PDotO and Cap City Records productions. Also on a few stage productions like Marikana What I love about Identity Crisis is that it’s true to who Bugzito is. It is a...
